Ryan Howard P.E.

President | Principal Engineer

Licensed Professional Engineer with 20+ years experience in residential design and structural engineering. Ryan has worked with some of the top builders in the industry. DR Horton, Lennar, and Ryan Homes to name a few. He also worked at the local municipalities engineering department for 8 years. Proficient in all aspects of residential design using rational analysis and following the updated Florida Building Code. Providing insight on how to work with local permitting authorities, as well as South Florida agencies such as Miami-Dade. Ryan has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida.

Roberto Cintron P.E.

Senior Project Engineer

Roberto is a graduate of Villanova University College of Engineering, with a M.S. in Civil Engineering and also attended University of Pittsburgh and received his degree in Civil and Environmental engineering. Roberto has over 7 years of experience in managing structural projects across commercial, institutional and residential sectors. He is skilled in project management, cross-disciplinary coordinating and mentors young engineers. He has proven time and time again that he can guide projects swiftly from proposal through construction, ensuring code compliance, cost efficiency and timely delivery..

Carlos Blanco

Drafting Director

Carlos has worked in the architectural and structural design field for over a decade and has been a project manager for many residential single and multi-family projects. His experience and structural design knowledge has been an asset to this company and our clients.

Caroline Bodin

Staff Engineer

Caroline graduated with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, specializing in architecture, from Jonkoping Technical University in Sweden in 2008. With over 15 years of experience at some of Sweden’s largest architectural firms, she has developed a broad skill set across various projects, including tenant adaptations, office buildings, commercial spaces, and schools. Caroline has been involved in all stages of the construction process, from initial design to final documentation. In recent years, her focus has been on residential planning, where she has served as a managing engineer.

Bill Verling

Project Manager

Originally from Pennsauken, New Jersey,Bill is dedicated to his work and committed to making a positive impact in his field. As a visionary architectural manager with 30+ Years of Design & Construction Expertise, Bill brings over decades of enthusiastic experience in architectural design and construction planning. His track record speaks for itself, showcasing his ability to lead diverse teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Bill is proficient in AutoCAD and excels in comprehensive project management, specializing in residential design, construction documentation, permit coordination, and value engineering.

Bill is passionate about fostering innovation and team growth, leading with strategic insight and a collaborative spirit to achieve successful project outcomes.

He is also proud to support The Jordan Smelski Foundation for Amoeba Awareness.

Angela Rammuno

Drafter

Originally from Cartagena, Colombia,

Angela got her start working many years in Colombia on Architectural Residential design and construction management. When she moved to the States she expanded her education and took Computer design Aid courses and completed a Technical College degree.

Since 2004 Angela has been working in the engineering field here in the U.S. working on a wide variety of residential and commercial projects. For several years Angela owned a consulting company and in 2011, she did some consulting work for the Miami-Dade Transit Authority creating the As-Builts with AutoCAD & MicroStation for the construction of the Orange Line Phase 1-MIC-Earlington Heights Connector Metrorail Extension Project.

Today she is a busy mom of a 2-year-old baby boy and finds her Zen in her residential design projects here at FHE.

Samuel Lee

Project Manager

Samuel is proud graduate of Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology. With over 16 years as a licensed Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida,Sam brings a deep, hands-on understanding of both the construction and engineering worlds.

His journey in building design began at the age of 12, and that early passion has evolved into a lifelong career in drafting, design, and structural problem-solving. Currently, he serves as a project engineer and project manager as he completes the experience requirements to become a licensed professional engineer.

What sets Samuel apart is the unique combination of technical design expertise and real-world construction insight. His background allows him to approach each project with a practical mindset while balancing creativity, safety, and constructability. He understands the importance of clear communication with clients, contractors, architects, and other engineers, especially when navigating complex inspections, structural repairs, and on-site investigations.

Will Mena

Drafting Specialist

Will joins us with 11 years of Architectural and Structural experience in custom estate home design, multi family and single family homes. Former Project Manager for DR Horton and Lennar Homes. He is certified in Auto CAD and holds a Science Degree in Architecture from Daytona State College.

Crystal Comejo

Drafter

Crystal is FHE raised and trained! She is a detail-oriented Drafter with 3 years of hands-on experience in CAD-based design and technical drawing. While Crystal continues to excel in her drafting in the office she is also completing a Drafting Diploma to further push her field education. Crystals strongest skills are her knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks, and her bright personality that makes our office shine!

Cindy Baggelaar-Reyes

Production Manager

Originally from Mount Dora, Florida, Cindy serves as the Production Manager at a FHE, where she leads the coordination and execution of residential projects. Her role involves managing drafting teams, ensuring design accuracy, optimizing workflows, and maintaining strict quality and timeline standards across all phases of production.

With experience in AutoCAD and Revit, Cindy specializes in streamlining operations to enhance team efficiency and project delivery. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Phoenix and a Master's degree from AdventHealth University, where she developed a strong foundation in leadership, strategic planning, and organizational management. Her educational background, paired with hands-on industry experience, allows her to effectively bridge technical execution with operational oversight to support high-performing teams and successful project outcomes.

Natalie Montague

Business Manager | AP

Natalie Montague has been a valued member of Florida Horizon Engineering for over five years, serving as both Office Manager and running our Accounts Payable (AP) Department. She is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office and managing all aspects of the AP department, ensuring smooth and efficient financial processes.

Before joining FHE, Natalie brought with her over 20 years of experience in the medical field, working her way up to a Regional Manager position. Leading Management teams and coordinated operations across multiple locations in Florida. Her extensive background in management, combined with her organizational skills and attention to detail, make her an indispensable part of the FHE team.

Josue Chavez

Drafter

Josue graduated from Seminole State College in 2016 with a graphic design degree. Shortly after his Introduction to the construction industry was as commercial electrician. Josue then returned to school in 2021 to get Auto CAD certification. From there he began as a engineering drafter then moved to architecture drafting now back to engineering here at FHE. Josue stays busy and is excited for your next high production project!

Jenny Roesch

Marketing Specialist | Drafter

With her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Florida State University, Jenny brings an extra flair to the office with her unique abilities to get information out and engage with clients and the community. While she is at the FHE home base most days keeping us up to date on the latest marketing trends, she is also a photographer and runs two businesses in New Smyrna Beach Florida, which she has owned since 2014. When she isn't creating content and meeting with potential clients, you can find her with her three sons and changing the world through her PTA, coaching and other children-centered volunteer organizations.

Kendra Hurrell

Drafter

Kendra isn't your average professional, and that's precisely why she's so great. Armed with a Bachelor of Science from Lake Erie College and a certification as a Spiritual Life Coach, her career launched in the fast-paced world of racehorses at Churchill Downs. Fifteen years in veterinary medicine saw her excel as a surgical, large animal, and stem cell technician before she fearlessly ventured out on her own. Over the last decade, she's navigated the construction and hospitality industries with ease, all while running a dairy goat farm and conquering full-time motherhood. Her recent years include professional video editing (where she continues to make impacts as an influencer) and expert demolition & reconstruction of homes post-hurricane damage. Today Kendra is drafting at FHE and an enthusiastic member of our team!

Kaitlyn Vees

Administrative Assistant

Kaitlyn Vees holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Originally from Central Florida, Kaitlyn brings a strong background in account management and administrative operations to her role. Her years of experience in client-focused environments have equipped her with exceptional organizational and communication skills that support both internal teams and project goals. Kaitlyn is excited for the opportunity to grow within the engineering field and ready to help make your project happen!
